In 2022 EXP Realty paid over $240 Million in Revenue Share and Equity Benefits to Agents and Brokers. 1. Commission - 80/20 split with a $16,000 cap
Team caps: Depending on the team structure and production, team cap amounts range from $16,000 to as low as $4000 per agent.
2. Revenue share - Earn a percentage of the company’s commission revenue by attracting producing agents to the company. With a 7-tier revenue share plan, agents earn revenue share from qualifying agents they sponsor to the company directly, and from commission income generated by agents who are sponsored as part of the overall group. Revenue share is paid out from the 20% EXP Realty collects. Hence "revenue share".

There are no extra fees or splits paid to a sponsor. All fees and splits are strictly with EXP Realty.
COMMISSION & CAP
¹$250 capped transaction fee. Once capped transaction fees total $5,000, the capped transaction fee isreduced to $75.
Agents and Sponsors can be in different markets, states/provinces, and countries. That's the beauty of this model. It's your choice who you choose to align yourself with, no matter where they are located. Your sponsor at eXp Realty is the person who had the greatest impact on your decision to join the company. They are the individual that you would like to grow your business with. They are your business partner! Your real estate license, on the other hand, will hang with a local Broker in your state/province or country, and your Broker/Team of Brokers will be there to assist with real estate contract questions and licensing requirements.
There are 4 team structures offered at EXP Realty with cap amounts ranging from $16K to only $4K. While additional rules apply, the following is a quick overview of the 4 team options. DOMESTIC - Anyone who has a spousal relationship or files joint tax returns.
SELF-ORGANIZED - Any agents at eXp Realty
STANDARD - Anyone who can document a minimum of $6 million or 30 closed transaction in the prior 12-months
MEGA ICON - Anyone who can document a minimum of $40 million and 175 closed transactions in the prior 12 months:

Cap Deferment is designed for agents who have capped at their current brokerage and desire to have that cap anniversary date honored at eXp Realty.
Please note the following criteria to apply for Cap Deferment:
1. You must ALREADY have met your Cap at your current brokerage
2. Only CLOSED transactions are considered for Cap Deferment requests
3. Cap Deferment requests cannot be made by agents already active with eXp Realty
*Deferments are subject to review and approval once the Cap Deferment application is made.
